In the English language, there is no flattering word to describe a group of female friends. The name Chica Peeps fills that void, and our hope is that it become the household expression for groups of women who support and nurture each other, often through humor.
Chica Peeps, the anthology, invites women, in their own voice, to share the bonds they have formed with groups of friends who nourish, guide and anchor them, often through humor. There is no workbook involved, no analyzation of demographic surveys, no secret language of girlfriends, no remedy for a toxic friendship, and no tips on how to work the network - simply a collection of stories about female friendships, not best friends, but group friendships and the dynamics of these groups.
