Chica Peeps: a sisterhood of strength and support; a group of women who anchor, guide and nurture each other, often through humor.
The anthology, Chica Peeps, offers women the opportunity, in their own voice, to share the bonds they have formed with groups of friends who nourish, guide and anchor them, often through humor. Female friends shape who we are and who we have yet to become. Our relationships with men and family are not enough. Sometimes it takes a crisis to make us realize that friends are the best medication. At every stage of life, close female friends support each other. It's the nature of women to gather and sit in a circle; we've done it since the beginning of time.
