Creator and Founder - Velya Jancz-Urban
Velya Jancz-Urban has morphed through several career changes from high school English and History teacher, stay-at-home mom, elementary Enrichment/Gifted teacher, and most recently, hoodwinked and betrayed Brazilian dairy farm owner. The Chica Peeps project ignited within her after she was "put back together again" with the help of a group of female teacher friends. Velya believes, "If I have Chica Peeps, then so do other women. It's time for them to be able share their stories." Velya currently lives in Connecticut with her husband, Jim, and has two children in college. She is a member-in-good-standing of the original Chica Peeps.

 Creative Assistant - Ehris Urban
An integral member of the Chica Peep project since its inception, Ehris is in the enviable position of having had all of the "Original Chica Peeps," including her mother, as teachers. Ehris has traveled extensively throughout the world and had an unconventional childhood. A junior in college, she recently received her ESL teacher certification. The Original Chica Peeps consider Ehris a "Chica Peep In-Training" as well as official photographer, website technician and 'daughter.'
